No Minor Infraction: Bend Businesses Fail Liquor Sales Test

More than half of the Bend business that were checked failed a recent minor alcohol sales sting operation conducted by OLCC.

More than half of the Bend business that were checked failed a recent minor alcohol sales sting operation conducted by Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC.)

Only six out of 14 business that OLCC visited successfully ID’d a minor at the time of purchase, according to the agency, which conducted the compliance check on Feb 24. The 43 percent success rate is well below the statewide average of 76 percent for 2011.

According to the OLCC, the businesses that failed the check were:

Roosters Deli, 527 NE Bellevue Dr.

Parkway Deli, 1095 SE Division

Red Dragon Chinese, 61247 Hwy 97

Binky’s 1120 S. hwy 97

Jackpot Food Market, 3405 Hwy 907

Taco Del Mar, 63455 N Hwy 97

Cost Plus World Mkt., 63455 N hwy 97

Sidelines Sports Bar, 1020 NW Wall St.

 

Businesses that fail OLCC minor sales checks are subject to probation, fines and in cases of repeat offenses, suspension or lose of license.
