Pictures From Wednesday's Social D Show

Photos of Social D in Bend.

Wednesday night in Bend was completely rocked by California band Social Distortion. There were awesome cat fights, plenty of crowd surfing, and even a couple of idiots who showed some major ups by launching themselves onto the stage in the middle of Social D's set. Openers Lindi Ortega and Texas band Toadies were fantastic (in fact, Toadies sounded just like I remember them). And the Midtown Ballroom was packed with people of all ages.

The only thing that sucked last night was Social D's security foreman not believing me (or not caring) that I was on the band's guest list and approved to take photos. I tried telling him that the pictures were for Bend's most kick ass newspaper... but he wasn't hearing any of it. So less than 60 seconds into the first song, he shut me down. Below you'll see the shots I managed to get of Mike Ness as well as some of those two aforementioned opening acts. Hope you were there for Social D's first ever (and hopefully not their last) Bend show.

(If you want a few more photos... I've got you covered.)
