You probably have some pretty good ideas for how this town could be cooler. And unlike your coworkers, these guys actually want to listen to you.
The people running Accelerate Bend, which is this whole what-should-Bend-look-like-in-the-future thing, have even set up these workshops to give you the opportunity to speak your mind
The idea is that a bunch of regular Bend citizens daydream together and their thoughts are rolled into a big plan called Bend 2030. The plan outlines our collective vision for the city and an action plan for turning that vision into reality.
Then nonprofits, city agencies and other key players in town, like COCC and OSU-Cascades, incorporate that vision into planning and over time our town actually becomes the thing we dreamed it could be.
Six workshops this month give you the chance to speak up.
