Instant Millionaires

Posted By on Thu, Nov 29, 2012 at 12:10 PM

The record-breaking Powerball jackpot of $587.5 million was reported last night with two winners hailing from Arizona and Missouri. The winning numbers were 5, 23, 16, 22, 29 and the Powerball was 6. The two lucky souls have not come forward to claim their massive prize.
Here's the report from Good Morning America:

As I can imagine, the shock is still settling in and they haven't snapped back to reality yet. When they do, they're going to have a long path until the money signs flicker in their eyes. There going to lose relationships with friends, family and anyone else they've ever known because they will all be asking for a piece of their prize. If I was these winners, I would get the first flight out the country. I'd go clear my head for a bit and then come back with a plan. Until then, it's back to the daily grind for the rest of us. Enjoy your coffee, keep using those coupons and don't forget to pick up that penny on the ground. The more money you save, the more chances you'll have at the next ridiculously large Powerball Jackpot.
