Central Oregon Has Happy Feet

Central Oregon dance troupes will be frolicking and gamboling their way across multiple stages this weekend demonstrating their skills at multiple recitals and performances. Show your support for aspiring artists and your love of dance by attending any one of the events slated for this weekend. Ms. Marcelle’s School of Dance performs A Night at the Tower June 20th at 6pm and June 21st at 11am and 6pm. Tickets are $20 at towertheatre.org. Also at the Tower Theatre, The Academie de Ballet perform their interpretation of J.M. Barrie’s tale of lost youth Peter Pan. Performances dates are June 22nd at 6:30pm and June 23rd at 2pm and tickets are $8-$15 at towertheatre.org with children five and under are admitted free.
The Terpsichorean Dance Studio performs their annual recital entitled The Amazing Art Museum that features jazz, modern, tap, hip-hop, ballet and musical theatre. Performances are held at Summit High School on June 21st and 22nd at 7pm. Tickets are $10 and benefit the Terpsichorean Scholarship Fund. Gotta Dance! Studio & Company’s annual recital will be performed at Bend High School on Sunday, June 23rd at 4pm. Last, but certainly not least, The Redmond School of Dance performs The Ballet Cinderella to the musical score written by Sergei Prokofiev on June 21st and June 22nd at 7pm at Ridgeview High School in Redmond. Tickets are $5-$10.
