Bill Cosby has been formally charged with sexual assault.

The time has come. No more innuendo or jokes or innocent until proven guilty handoffs. Bill Cosby has been charged with aggravated indecent assault for his drugging and raping of a former Temple University employee that rejected his sexual advances. He was charged, booked and bail was set at a million dollars (which he had already arranged payment of). There were only days left until the statute of limitations on this crime would have been up, just as they expired for some of the dozens of other women who have come forward about their own drugging and raping. While in some outlandish bizarro world, this could be some conspiracy to bring down someone who hasn't been relevant in over a decade, but the stories of these women are all so similar and horrifically told, one can't help but wonder what would be in it for anyone to lie about such terrible things. While it is true that we are all innocent until proven guilty, it is hard to find any innocence in Cosby.
