Not only is it First Friday today, but it's the bi-annual Art Hop -- which is essentially a super-sized First Friday.
According to the website for the Downtown Bend Business Association, the organization that's orchestrating, there are more than 30 downtown businesses opening their doors to show the art hanging from their walls, and to serve up some free wine, of course.
I got a sneak peak at the new Skullz 'n Skates show going into the Mad Happy Lounge beginning tonight and it's looking pretty cool with pieces from Mark Rada, Derek Anderson, Jesse Roberts, Brian Ellsworth and mysterious local artist SkullFace.

With weather like this -- keep in mind, it snowed one year ago this weekend, so be thankful -- you better get out and enjoy this event. We're on borrowed summer-in-fall time here.
Art Hop runs from 5-9pm tonight.
