Bite Week
Back for its second year, this five-day smorgasbord of tastings, nutrition classes, chef's dinners and cocktails competitions is more food-centric events than you can shake a fork at. It really is a summit—like the G8 of the region's best chefs (if "g" stood for gastronomical)—but unlike any other culinary event in Central Oregon, it also has countless ways for anyone and everyone to take part. Bite of Bend
A Top Chef Competition, a Beer Run, culinary classes and tastes from some of the best restaurants in the region. Presented by First Community Credit Union and Eberhard's Dairy, this two-day food party with live music and kids' activities, too, on the streets of downtown Bend, is every foodie's dream.

Northwest Crossing's Saturday Farmers' Market
Vendors, musicians and restaurants involved in the farmers' market this summer embody the spirit and excellence of quality of life in Bend. A ripe selection of the region's best organic artisans in everything from produce, meats, baked goods, skincare and other lifestyle products will be available for you to explore.

Worthy Wednesday & The Bend Farmers' Market
Stop in for beer tastings and Tower Theater tours during Downtown Farmers' Market. Shop the farmer's market and then pop in the back door of the Tower for free beer and popcorn from Worthy Brewing. Because you're worth it.

Munch & Music
Nearly a quarter-century old, these standby events are as much about concerts as community, and as much about alliterations as arrant good times. Like a giant romper room for kids and adults, riverside Drake Park fills with food carts and a band stage each Thursday. Sunshine guaranteed.

Follow the Fork culinary walking tours
With pavement pounding tours on the west and eastsides, as well as downtown, Chef Bette hosts "Follow the Fork" tours that explore Bend's food niches and coffee hangouts and provide behind-the-scene glimpses at what makes this a unique eating town. They also have wonderful tours of area farms throughout the summer.
