Another Round of Republican Boots, Please

Hey, don’t stop with the BOOT to Greg Walden and his evil GOP cronies (the Koch Brothers party) for wanting to defund Planned Parenthood. They have every intention of destroying even more: PBS and the EPA, just to name two. There are a lot of petitions circulating on the Internet that need to be signed against this idiocy.  Spend a little time with a two year old and see all the great programming there is for little people on PBS. Did you know that you can find every single NPR radio station programmed into your route map on MapQuest if you are on a road trip?

Clean air? Clean water? It’s gonna go away if the GOP/Koch Brothers have their way and defund the EPA. Gotta keep the taxes low for the big polluters. (Quit buying Angel Soft and Quilted Northern and Brawny and Dixie Cups just to name a few products that contribute to these awful people).

Big BOOTS and lots of them.

Oh, and one more thing: Greg Walden seems to not want to hear from his constituency unless it’s a programmed secure appearance. And he does NOT respond to emails.

Start making noise, people, otherwise we are going to lose far too much.

Don’t be a sheeple.

  • DO NOT SPIT ON MY CAR

We recently visited Bend for the Film Festival and very much enjoyed ourselves, with one small exception. We parked our Ford in the public parking structure, only to find when we returned on Friday night that it had been spat upon, apparently in retribution for our Obama 2012 bumper sticker. I understand that whoever did this was passionate about politics, something I have always shared.

  • THE SOURCE ROCKS, BUT 'ONE DAY AT A TIME' DOESN'T

After living in Bend for a year and a half, I recently stopped through on business. I love the town, the people, and all the outdoor beauty the area offers. One of my favorite things about Bend is without question, The Source. From the first time I read it, I knew it would be a cover-to-cover great time for me to enjoy all the stories, community news, the updates on all the music and arts, presentations, and great things goings on around town.
