National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
The Griswold clan returns with another attempt to make solid family memories. This time instead of going to Wally World or Europe, all they want to do is stay at home and have a successful Christmas with each other. What they fail to realize is Christmas will more than likely be ruined thanks to Randy Quaid, poor planning and Clark Griswold's inability to make one correct decision in his entire life. Sponsored by Worthy Brewing and BendFilm, there will also be an ugly Christmas Sweater parade right before the movie so we can actually tell our Grandmas we wore it without lying.

The Trailrunning Film Festival
The touring festival stops in Bend on its way South with a packed lineup of outdoor films. Some of the movies include Running the Edge: The Colorado Trail, which follows a crazy person as he averages 60 miles and 22,000 feet of elevation change per day for over 8 days. Rainshadow Year in Review is a race video showing what makes their tracks so unique. 2014 Gorge Waterfalls 100k shows parts of the toughest Rainshadow race. Including several other race videos and film shorts, the Trailrunning Film Festival will be perfect for people who feel like hiking at a reasonable pace is for suckers.

Salt of the Earth
This was the first film in history blacklisted due to its alleged ties with communist politics. In actuality, the film was one of the first to promote a feminist agenda, while also being pro-union in a time when the U.S. government only wanted to focus on the Cold War. Following the neo-realist style new to the United States in the 1950s, Salt of the Earth was far ahead of its time then and is, in some ways, just as topical now.

Final Pose
A yoga instructor from Sisters is diagnosed with terminal cancer and comes to terms with her fears and what she's leaving behind. The powerful and bittersweet documentary will be screened in Sisters and will be followed by a panel including representatives of Bend Ashtanga Yoga, Compassion and Choices, Final Pose and Partners in Care.
