Kozak Is The Man For 54

Do we want to be led down that same path that we seem to go each and every election year? We are bombarded by the media telling us whom the right candidate is for our best interests.

Do we want to be led down that same path that we seem to go each and every election year? We are bombarded by the media telling us whom the right candidate is for our best interests. I believe it is time for us as a community to stop and really think about the best candidate that would look out for our interests and not the party line's interests. Judy Stiegler has proven time and again that the only vote that she knows how to cast is a "YEA" vote when it comes to raising the taxes on her constituents. It is clear that we cannot afford another term of Steigler economics.

The republicans have Jason Conger. This is another attorney entering the political arena, but can we afford to punch the ticket of another lawyer that will just follow party lines? People have been speaking of change these last two years within our government and to this date and to this voter all I seem to see is the same old politics with different faces, republican or democrat, neither truly knows what change means.

I have known Mike Kozak for some 20 years now and know him to be a man with integrity, honesty and experience who will truly bring change to our government. He will do what is best for us on this side of the mountain and not "toe the line" for a political group. He has experience at high levels of government negotiations and has held offices that will bring knowledge and wisdom to our seat in Salem.

House District #54 is our district not a republican or democratic district. It is time we tell our elected officials just that. We are not sheep!

Choose Mike Kozak to represent us.

  • DO NOT SPIT ON MY CAR

We recently visited Bend for the Film Festival and very much enjoyed ourselves, with one small exception. We parked our Ford in the public parking structure, only to find when we returned on Friday night that it had been spat upon, apparently in retribution for our Obama 2012 bumper sticker. I understand that whoever did this was passionate about politics, something I have always shared.

  • THE SOURCE ROCKS, BUT 'ONE DAY AT A TIME' DOESN'T

After living in Bend for a year and a half, I recently stopped through on business. I love the town, the people, and all the outdoor beauty the area offers. One of my favorite things about Bend is without question, The Source. From the first time I read it, I knew it would be a cover-to-cover great time for me to enjoy all the stories, community news, the updates on all the music and arts, presentations, and great things goings on around town.
