A few IPAs you need to try at the Mini Bend Brewfest.

IPAs not to miss
Hop Hash, 6%, 90 IBUs
Caldera Brewing Company, Ashland 
Made with a non-traditional hopping technique that uses compacted hashlike chunks of hops in the brew.

Wookey Jack, 8.5%, 60 IBUs
Firestone Walker, Paso Robles, California
Black IPA made with dark and spicy malts and citrus-laden hops is unfiltered with a complex flavor profile. 
Country Boy IPA, 6.2%, 80 IBUs
Everybody’s Brewing, White Salmon, Washington
Dry, clean, crisp with great citrus character from Centennial, Amarillo and Cascade hops.
Cnote, 6.9%, 100 IBUs
Lompoc Brewing, Portland
Highly hopped orange-hued ale with pine and herbal aromas. Toffee and caramel notes followed by a citrus finish.

Worth a try

Kentucky Christmas, 8%, 70 IBUs
Hopworks Urban Brewery, Portland
Used to be the Abominable Winter Ale before it was aged in a bourbon barrel and took on notes of vanilla and spice blended with citrus and caramel. 
Torrent Pale Beet Bock, 7%, 80 IBUs
Elysian Brewing Company, Seattle
Earthy combo of beet and bock flavors. Crisp, but with a malty sweetness. 
Saison the Beach, 5.5%, 45 IBUs
Lompoc Brewing, Portland
Effervescent golden ale with grapefruit zest, peppercorns and candied ginger. 
Dragon’s Breath, 6%, 18 IBUs
Bayern Brewing, Missoula
Dark unfiltered wheat beer somewhere between a heff and a dark lager. Smooth. Local Pick
Bourbon Barrel Diablo Rojo, 6%, 30 IBUs
Boneyard Beer, Bend
Deep amber ale aged in a bourbon barrel for about a year.
