Foodie Crawl
EATS—At the third annual food-based fundraiser for the Bend Community Center's Feed the Hungry program, attendees will munch on small plates with beverage pairings across downtown. The offerings are cooked up by some of Bend's favorite chefs and restaurants, including 10 Below, Drake, Hola!, Jackalope Grill, Zydeco and Spork. Muzez Tour (MCs Sassy, Jaeda, Kelley Mak, Valentina)
HIP-HOP—There aren't too many widely appreciated female MCs in the game. Luckily, Bend's getting an influx of such talent as the Muzez Tour makes its stop in town. Each performer's recording is backed by sleek-sounding, contemporary productions. But hearing Valentina go in on "Txt," belief in hip-hop's avant potentials should be re-enforced. 10 pm. AMERICANA—Grammy winner and godfather of newgrass, Peter Rowan is famous for pioneering a second-wave bluegrass movement, one that took the genre from porch-picking Appalachia into new, jammy territory.
