Scientology Column Was a Bad Joke

Opinion of the Scientology column.

It’s the Ann Romano article. Is that a joke? Is there any documentation of Scientology? Would she/you do the same thing to Baptists/Catholics/ etc.? I am overwhelmed with the content; there is nothing about The Week in Review. It’s not a week in review. It’s without resource-fullness, which makes it just trash.

Is there a mature person writing the article? Is there a 27 year old or a 44 year old. Her immaturity is all over the article and perhaps that’s the intent. If so, then it’s just trash and if the Source prints articles like that, what’s a reader of the Source to do? Just look at the ads? It does get me riled up.

Which is a good thing. Travolta and Cruise are two separate people. They don’t become one just because you use the word Scientology. What would Ms. Romano do if/when she were to read about Scientology and find she is on the wrong track, and there is certainly a wrong track in her article. Now pass this on to the editor, the assistant editor, the editorial board.

Did I research this reply before sending it? Yes, actually I did and I go the results from my common sense file.

  • DO NOT SPIT ON MY CAR

We recently visited Bend for the Film Festival and very much enjoyed ourselves, with one small exception. We parked our Ford in the public parking structure, only to find when we returned on Friday night that it had been spat upon, apparently in retribution for our Obama 2012 bumper sticker. I understand that whoever did this was passionate about politics, something I have always shared.

  • THE SOURCE ROCKS, BUT 'ONE DAY AT A TIME' DOESN'T

After living in Bend for a year and a half, I recently stopped through on business. I love the town, the people, and all the outdoor beauty the area offers. One of my favorite things about Bend is without question, The Source. From the first time I read it, I knew it would be a cover-to-cover great time for me to enjoy all the stories, community news, the updates on all the music and arts, presentations, and great things goings on around town.
