¡Chiringa!

It's been a while since this formerly local band graced a Bend stage with its Latin-infused presence. Singer and bandleader Shireen Amini who assembled the crew for the Cinco De Mayo festival in 2012, has since left Central Oregon, but returns with more flair than ever, worldly covers and originals with plenty of dancing for the professional salsa dancer or the casual booty shaker. 7 pm. Thurs., Jan. 29. McMenamins Old St. Francis, 700 NW Bond St. Free.

Hillstomp

This ruckus of a scrappy blues duo has spent so much time in Central Oregon in the last few years that we consider them natives. The band's high-energy performance and inclination to dancing fans is undeniably Bend, not to mention that they KEEP COMING BACK. With winter wonders Black Flowers Black Sun opening, it'll be hard not to catch the blues. 9 pm. Sat., Jan. 31. Volcanic Theatre Pub, 70 SW Century Dr. $10.

Victory Swig

Live scoring is a fun multi-media approach to beef up a solo set, and folk artist Victory Swig will bring his rocking acoustic jams to the forefront of a B-Rated western movie. Brian Hinderberger of Rum and the Sea takes on new life in his solo project that combines bouncy folk looping and rolling harmonica riffs. Fri., Jan. 30. 7 pm. Crux Fermentation Project, 50 SW Division St. Free.
