Holiday Community Sing-A-Long

Presented by the Sisters Folk Festival, and led by two important members of the Sisters musical community—Victor Johnson and Kerry Williams—this event is accessible for kids, adults and anyone in the holiday spirit. Starting with a workshop teaching classic Christmas tunes on the ukulele, and ending with a chorus of carolers, this participatory performance will grow your heart a full three sizes. 5 pm Ukulele Workshop ($5), 7 pm community sing-along (free). Thurs., Dec. 18. The Belfry 302 E Main St.

Holiday Brewgrass Jamboree

Holiday songs sound so much more adorable when they are played on tiny stringed instruments. The Bend Uke Group will pluck some jolly jams, joined by Greg Botsford, and the Bond St. Brewgrass All-Stars, featuring members of well-known local pickers Blackstrap and Pitchfork Revolution. The event also serves as a food drive, bring two cans of non- perishable! 5 pm. Fri., Dec. 19. Crux Fermentation Project, 50 SW Division St. Free.

A Tower Christmas

A Tower Christmas will include a cornucopia of performances, Cascade Chorale's Steven Livingston in "A Christmas Story" montage (lovely!), the Bend Children's Choir performs the cutest "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth" and "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" (adorable!). Beyond the music, KQAK's Dave Clemens reads "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," and the lofty ceilings will be filled with so much Christmas joy you'll just want to explode! 2 pm & 7 pm. Sun., Dec. 21. 7 pm. Mon., Dec 22. Tower Theatre 835 NW Wall St. $8-$12.
