St. Patrick's Day Roundup

Holidays are great. Especially ones that encourage drinking for the sake of drinking. So wear green, slam a few pint of Guinness and pretend you're Irish for the weekend. St. Patrick would approve.

Local Black and Tans

Local breweries have created some innovative black and tans in honor of St. Patty's day and Whole Foods will be pouring samples from 4 to 6 p.m. all week. Here's when to expect your favorite brewery: GoodLife 3/13, Three Creeks Brewing Co. 3/14, 10 Barrel Brewing Co. 3/15, Deschutes Brewery 3/16. Whole Foods Market, 2610 NE Highway 20.

St. Patrick's Day Party at Faith, Hope and Charity Vineyards

Your $10 entry fee will get you a full Irish meal. Wine, beer and sangria available for purchase. $10. 6 p.m. Faith, Hope and Charity Vineyards, 70455 NW Lower Bridge Way, Terrebonne.

St. Patrick's Dinner Dance

A buffet dinner followed by dancing to the big band music of The Notables. $12. 6 p.m. Bend Senior Center, 1600 SE Reed Market Rd.

St. Patrick's Day Party with Irish Infused Hilst & Coffey

Five-Pint Mary at Kelly D's

St. Pattie's Day Run

Burn off some of those Guinness calories in a 5k or 10k run on the Peterson Ridge Trail system. Beer tasting and music by the Sisters High School Jazz Band after the race. 6 p.m. Sisters Athletic Club, 1001 Desperado Trail.

St. Patrick's Day Festival of Redmond

Two-day festival celebrating all things Irish. Music from MoWo and entertainment from the High Desert Celtic Society Dancers are just the tip of the blarney stone. All proceeds from the festival benefit Healthy Beginnings. Bring the whole family, but fret not, there's still a beer garden. 5 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. Saturday. Centennial Park. A Celtic Journey

Lava City Roller Dolls St. Patty's Benefit

Music by The Rum And The Sea and Subliminal. This event will feature a kilt contest so be sure to dress in your best 16th century pleated skirt, and don't forget your underwear. 21+. No cover. 8 p.m. The Horned Hand, 507 NW Colorado Ave.

Fruition and The Giraffe Dodgers

Bend's St. Patrick's Day Dash

This crew of kilted firefighters will be playing a full day of shows, catch them at any number of spots around town. 9 a.m. Deschutes Dash, 1 p.m. McMenamins, 5 p.m. Deschutes Brewery, 5:45 D&D, 6:30 JC's, 7:15 Summit Saloon, 8 Sidelines, 9:30 p.m. back to McMenamins!
