Keep Up the Good Work, Milton Bradley

The Seattle Mariner's Milton Bradley was arrested...just in time for spring training.

Since I didn't have a Left Field column in this week's paper -- which will be hitting the web in about two hours and the streets a few hours after that -- I need to unload some of the sports idiocy currently boiling my brains.

And there's no source of idiocy more reliable than Seattle Mariner's sometimes outfielder/constant embarrassment, Milton Bradley. This is the guy who came into spring training calling himself the Kanye West of baseball (really? do you really want to be the Kanye of anything?) then sort of quit the team early in the season in the middle of a game. Then, he came back to the team -- and helped the team sleep walk through the remainder of the season.

Now...Bradley has been arrested in his native Los Angeles and was booked and subsequently released on bail for unspecified charges. ESPN, however, has reported that it had to do with allegedly making threats against women.

Holy crap, Milton. Yeah, you were given an unfortunate name, and we're sorry about that, but come on, man, spring training is only six or so weeks away.
