Will Ferrell to Appear on "The Office"

Steve Carell and Will Ferrell together on "The Office?"

Posted By on Thu, Jan 27, 2011 at 7:15 PM

Are you planning on watching The Office tonight to see how in the hell they're planning on ushering Steve Carell's Michael Scott out of the show? I am. And no I don't think the show has jumped the shark, like some of you believe. I mean, did anyone else see the Nard Dog's air fiddle roller skating session last week?

Anyway, there was some interesting news today about how the last few months of Michael Scott's tenure with Dunder Mifflin -- Will Ferrell will be on the show.

According to Deadline.com, Ferrell approached the show's producers with the idea of coming into the cast for a few episodes. Apparently, Ferrell will play a manager from the corporate office, and it looks like he'll be just as much of a moron as Michael Scott.

The only thing we can hope is that The Office gets the funny Will Ferrell and not the Land of the Lost Will Ferrell. Here's hopin'.
