Britt Festival Lineup Announced: Avett Brothers, Michael Franti, Decemberists and more

Britt Festvial announces their 2011 lineup!

Last night, the ever popular Britt Fest in Southern Oregon announced its lineup for the 2011 season, and in my opinion it's a great one! It kicks off with Michael Franti on June 11th and keeps getting better from there with shows by Ray Lamontagne & The Pariah Dogs (pictured), The Avett Brothers, The Decemberists, and lots more! (yes... even Willie Nelson will be there.)

Tucked away in the small town of Jacksonville Oregon, the Britt Pavilion is one of Oregon's absolute best outdoor venues (some Britt Fest shows do happen at the Lithia Motors Amphitheater and a music recital hall in Ashland). With the ability to bring in your own picnic and bottle of wine, Britt offers something not often found with outdoor music venues in Oregon. You'll also find that the max attendance of 2,200 ensures that all performances will have a very intimate feel no matter where you're sitting.

As I mentioned in my Ignite Bend 4 presentation "100 Live in 2009", should you choose general admission seating for one of these shows, get yourself a BRITT SITTER! That's right! Pay some little kid to wait in line for you, while you kick it in Jacksonville eating a tasty burger and knocking back some brews! Tickets for these shows go on sale to the general public on May 19, so you have some time to save up and plan! (of course should you find you can't wait till the summer to see some great live music, you can always check out my calendar of recommended shows!)
