Mt. Bachelor management announced today that are opening the mountain’s summit run (s) for three bonus days of skiing over the Fourth of July weekend.

Bachelor spokesman Andy Goggins said that the record 650 inches of snowfall this past season afforded the company the chance to open for a three-day run in mid-summer. In addition to skiing, the first 250 enthusiasts to arrive each day will receive a commemorative t-shirt. The mountain will also offer live music at Pine Mountain West Village lodge at the base of Pine Marten.

Daily lift tickets are $30 for general public and $20 for passholders, including season pass, mid-week and club card members.  Lifts will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat. July 2 – Mon. July 4 with skiers accessing the Summit Express lift via Pine Marten Express.
