100% Local. No Paywalls.

Every day, the Source publishes a mix of locally reported stories on our website, keeping you up to date on developments in news, food, music and the arts. We’re committed to covering this city where we live, this city that we love, and we hear regularly from readers who appreciate our ability to put breaking news in context.

The Source has been a free publication for its 22 years. It has been free as a print version and continued that way when we began to publish online, on social media and through our newsletters.

But, as most of our readers know, times are different for local journalism. Tech giants are hoovering up small businesses and small-business advertising—which has been the staple for locally owned media. Without these resources, journalism struggles to bring coverage of community news, arts and entertainment that social media cannot deliver.

Mt. Bachelor Announces Season Pass Pricing

Take a look at your season pass options for the 2011-2012 season.

Posted By on Tue, Aug 30, 2011 at 10:02 PM

This afternoon, Mt. Bachelor made their annual announcement as to the prices for the upcoming winter's season passes.

The price has yo-yoed over the years, but has remained stable over the past few seasons with just a few minor tweaks. This year,  season passes are $829 for adults if you buy by September 30 and $1,029 if you wait until later in the fall.

There are some other new additions to the ticketing process, including an opportunity for season pass holders to buy discounted single-day lift tickets for $58. There's also a refund option in the event of injury, relocation or sickness.

Here's the complete rundown on the pricing. Passes go on sale on Thursday.
