Animal Eyes and Plum Sutra: Tonight!

Alaskan rockers back in Bend, this time at Silver Moon.

Posted By on Fri, Jan 27, 2012 at 3:00 PM

The boys are back in town, and they brought friends. Portland band Plum Sutra will blow your mind with their Zen rock followed by a night of debauchery with Alaskan ruffians and indie folk rockers Animal Eyes. Catch them at Silver Moon tonight.

Plum Sutra call themselves a piano/violin/drums instrumentation collective. Their sound is pretty out there in the best way—ambient, instrumental, and rockin’. Plus, their second album is an instrumental account of the evolution of Madagascan lemurs…right on!

Read up on Animal Eyes in this week’s issue of The Source Weekly. If this show is anywhere near as bonkers as their appearance last week at the Horned Hand, then you won’t be disappointed. (See video below)

And all for five dollars! Why, I can count that on one hand!
