Crux Fermentation Opening Soon

Crux Fermentation Opening Soon

Alright, so the photo sucks, but the beer was good.

Our intrepid Source drinking team hit up Crux yesterday during one of their soft opening events leading up to the grand opening on June 30.

We had the Double Mountain Kolsch, one of brewery’s guest taps—it was spicy and good. They won’t be pouring their own brews until a week or so after opening, said Paul Evers, one of the owners of the new brewery.

In the meantime, the beers on tap are pretty top notch. Wouldn’t really expect anything less from owners Evers, Larry Sidor- former Deschutes Brewmaster- and Dave Wilson- of 21st Amendment Brewery out of San Francisco.

Food selections looked interesting. Several beer infused items and others with agave. We had the beer-infused hummus, which was above average for the hummus available at brewpubs around town.
