Art for Mt. Washington/Simpson Roundabout Selected

A record number of Bend residents participated in the voting for which piece of art should anchor the new roundabout currently being constructed at Mt. Washington Drive and Simpson Avenue. 

High Desert Spiral, by John Fleming, was chosen and it really is that tall!

A spokesperson for Art in Public Places, which donates funding for art in Bend, said the piece will stretch about 40 feet high.
