Typhoon Set to Release New Album Next Year

New music from Portland band Typhoon's upcoming album.

Posted By on Thu, Nov 1, 2012 at 4:54 AM

One of my favorite bands is Portland mega-group Typhoon. The band relies on aggressive orchestral rock for their very emotional and very personal songs. They've garnered attention as one of Portland's best bands and have played festivals all over the country.

Typhoon's long awaited follow up to 2010's acclaimed album Hunger and Thirst will be released in 2013.

Here are some multi-media elements that should help get you on board with Typhoon if you haven't yet already. The first is a fantastic video preview of the upcoming album called White Lighter. The second is two tracks from the new album. And the third is the music video for my favorite Typhoon song.

Enjoy.
