Coverage for Central Oregon, by Central Oregonians.
100% Local. No Paywalls.

Every day, the Source publishes a mix of locally reported stories on our website, keeping you up to date on developments in news, food, music and the arts. We’re committed to covering this city where we live, this city that we love, and we hear regularly from readers who appreciate our ability to put breaking news in context.

The Source has been a free publication for its 22 years. It has been free as a print version and continued that way when we began to publish online, on social media and through our newsletters.

But, as most of our readers know, times are different for local journalism. Tech giants are hoovering up small businesses and small-business advertising—which has been the staple for locally owned media. Without these resources, journalism struggles to bring coverage of community news, arts and entertainment that social media cannot deliver.

Please consider becoming a supporter of locally owned journalism through our Source Insider program. Learn more about our program’s benefits by clicking through today.

Sleepwalk With Me at the Tower

Posted By on Fri, Nov 16, 2012 at 4:27 PM

Mike Birbiglia has a true story for you.

Birbiglia is a regular contributor to This American Life, and is the comedian who wrote, directed, and stars in Sleepwalk With Me, a film based on his own life.

Slated as “A comedy for anyone who has ever had a dream. And then jumped out a window” Sleep Walk With Me is the story of a stand-up comedian who’s anxiety about his long term girlfriend begins to manifest itself in increasingly dangerous sleepwalking episodes, and the increasing hilarity of his act.

Winner of the 2012 Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival the film stars Lauren Ambrose ("Six Feet Under”), Carol Kane ("Taxi"), James Rebhorn ("Meet the Parents"), Cristin Milioti (star of Broadway's "Once"), plus comedians Marc Maron, Kristen Schaal(The Daily Show, 30 Rock), Wyatt Cenac (The Daily Show), Jessi Klein, Henry Phillips and David Wain.

Co-written by Ira Glass and produced by This American Life, there is no effing way this could be bad.

Sleepwalk With Me will be playing at the Tower Theater starting tomorrow. Don’t miss it!

Sleepwalk With Me
November 17-21
