How to Drink Beer and Feel Good About Yourself

If you live in Bend, it's safe to assume that you love doggies and beer, in which case, you should be at Broken Top Bottle Shop for the tongue twisting First Firkin Friday for Furry Friends.

BTBS will be tapping a Firkin-style keg of Ebenezer from BridgePort Brewing Co. (Portland,OR)
All the proceeds from this keg will go to benefit the Central Oregon Humane Society and the Bend Spay and Neuter Clinic.

So here's the plan:
1. Buy beer.
2. Drink said beer.
3. Know your money is helping an important and adorable cause.
4. Feel great, and maybe get a little buzzed.

To help you plan your month right, here is the lineup for shows at Broken Top through January. Brews and Bands happen almost every Sunday from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. and have no cover. Yup, free music.

Sunday, January 6 Kentucky Long Rifle (Blues Rock & Roll)

Sunday, January 13 The String Rats (Alt-Country Americana)

Sunday, January 20 Mai & Dave (local bluegrass)

Saturday, January 26 Young Fiddle Pickers (students of Joe Schulte, Jenny Wasson, & Diane Allen)
