Source Twitter Feed Prompts KTVZ to Grill City Councilor

Posted By on Fri, Jan 18, 2013 at 9:08 AM

It was a good ol' time in the town on Wednesday night at the swearing in of three new Bend city councilors and the election of Jim Clinton as mayor. The mood was a little raucous in the audience and up on the dais where the councilors spoke their minds out loud and, in one case, on their Twitter feed.

After hearing from round after round of complaints from people about the city's direction on the Bridge Creek water project, and the unexpected events around choosing a mayor (two people dropped their bids to be mayor during the meeting), Scott Ramsay threw in his two cents via Twitter.

The Source, which provides live commentary and coverage of most every city council meeting, responded in good fun.

The whole thing wound up on KTVZ.

Be sure to catch our live Twitter coverage of the council's Jan. 30 meeting at Twitter/sourceweekly. Making news fun again!
