From Jan. 26- Feb. 2nd, Deschutes Brewery & Public House in the Pearl District is serving a WinterFest inspired brew called the Jack Frosty Beligin IRA. Here is a description of WinterFest's official beer:

Jack’s Frosty Belgian India Red Ale is mischievous in nature, nipping your taste buds from head to toe with a fruity ice bomb of 4 different hops: Bravo, Delta, Strisselpalt and Mosaics and then warming your soul with a calming balance of 6 different malts. Fermented warm with a Belgian Strain-the esters from the yeast engage the fruitiness of the hops in a cold battle of sweet and spice. Chilly days stand no chance against this BIRA!

Every Jack's Frosty BIRA comes with a WinterFest button that admits you to the largest winter event in the Pacific Northwest, and helps to support this year's beneficiary, Saving Grace.

You'll also be entered to win a WinterFest package, which includes a two night stay at the River House and two lift tickets to Mt. Bachelor! Sweet deal for out of towners, or if you're a Bendite, you can take a stay-cation during WinterFest weekend.
