Your Friday night entertainment schedule should include a stop at The Horned Hand where PDX/Bend band The Beautiful Train Wrecks is joining Seattle's The Horde and The Harem (Maffey wrote about them earlier this week—they're great).

But what makes this show particularly awesome is that it's TWO great bands. The Train Wrecks have been playing Portland for years, but ever since lead singer Lucas Alberg moved to Bend the roots-rock Americana band (that dabbles in alt-country) has added a number of Central Oregon shows to its tour schedule. In 2012, BTW released its second album, In the Midnight Blue. We wrote about it last spring and you can read it here. Here's a song from that album:
