Today Ian Boswell (Team Sky) successfully finished stage 3 of the 7-stage Paris-Nice road race, considered by most to mark the real beginning of the European racing season. Here's Boswell on today's stage, which was won by another American, Andrew Talansky (Garmin-Sharp).

It ain't easy over there. Just finishing is a strong result. After today, Boswell was in 161st place at just over 12 minutes back from Talansky, the new GC leader. Follow Boswell's Paris-Nice debut on VeloNews—the cycling website has been posting regular updates from the Bend rider as he tackles the soggy spring race. You can watch the race each morning on cyclingfans.com.
