What should Oregon do with its Benjamins?
  • What should Oregon do with its Benjamins?

No matter what your issue you need to get down to the Oregon Legislature Ways and Means Joint Committee meeting in Bend this Friday.

HEY! Wait! This is not boring. It's all about THE MONEY. And no matter what your issues, or lack thereof, this is going to be political theater at its best.

Tea partiers, liberals, PERS employees—the biggest voices with a stake in the game will be there. Major topics will be PERS reforms, tax increases and a grab bag of pet projects voters want this budgetary committee to make a priority. It is also THE time to talk about OSU-Cascades.

So slip some Milk Duds in your purse and get a good seat. See you down there.
