Posted By on Fri, May 3, 2013 at 4:14 PM

It's Friday at last! Say "hello" to a weekend of great weather. Need something to jump-start you weekend? Don’t miss Bend’s monthly First Friday Art Walk.

Created by the Bend Gallery Association 20 years ago, the Art Walk showcases local artists, musicians and performers throughout downtown Bend and the Old Mill.

Over 50 businesses stay open late, serve food and wine and welcome you to enjoy their space. For the most up-to-date list of participating businesses, visit the Downtown Bend website.

Time: 5 pm - 9 pm. Cost: Free. Location: Throughout downtown and the Old Mill
Phone: 541-788-3628 Email: downtownbend@gmail.com

If you find yourself wondering where to begin your evening, here are some suggestions:

Live Ballet! Students from the Victor School of Performing Arts will perform vignettes and scenes from “Night of Elegance” sporadically throughout the evening in downtown, beginning at 6 pm. Catch the full show this summer at Summit High School, June 6 and 7.
Find them at the corner of Minnesota and Wall.

Delyea Navone will be playing some tunes with a taste of the Near East. They've brought Morocco, Turkey and India home for us, so go be sure to stop by and experience these foreign sounds.
Find it in Gasoline Alley, just up from Oregon Avenue.
