It's snowing, I know, but I also know you own a big old fleece jacket, so put it on and help keep mountain biking in Bend the best in the country! Bend is know for having some of the most active and experienced trail builders in the U.S. so come out this Thursday lend a hand and see some of the masters at work.

This work event is organized by Webcyclery, here is what they have to say about it.

When: Thursday, May 23, 2013
Time: 5:15 P.M.
Where: Webcyclery, 550 SW Industrial Way
Work Site: Farewell Trail

Help us get the Farewell trail in tip top shape for the riding season. Meet at Webcyclery at 5:15 on Thursday, 5/23 and we will carpool to the bottom of the trail. If you are running late meet us at the bottom of Farewell. We will hike up and cut back brush on the lower section. The plan is to work until 8pm and then head back down. After all this hard work, come on back to the shop. WebCyclery is providing food and Cascade Lakes Brewing Company is providing beer. WebCyclery’s Kevin will have the grill started and be ready to toss the burgers on when we arrive.

There’s only one thing better than mountain biking in Bend, OR and that’s riding in Bend, knowing that you helped build and maintain the trails you love.

Please bring a hydration pack with water and a snack.
Be sure to bring appropriate layers to accommodate whatever the weather may be.
