What in the World? Today's News

Happy Friday world!
Here's the afternoon news.

After firing his uncle in early December from his position in the North Korean government, it was reported yesterday that Kim Jong Un had Jan Song-thaek executed by firing squad, raising questions about his grip of power in North Korea.

Terrible news for our state! USA Today is reporting that Oregon ranks last in health insurance sign-ups with just 44 Oregonians registered in October and November.

In better news...The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug was released last night, so here's 10 things you didn't know about Legolas! #1 SHOULD be, he's not even in the book version of "The Hobbit."
