Remembering Sandy Hook

A year ago today, a disturbed 20-year old man walked into an elementary school and killed 20 students, and 6 staff members. In one of the most chilling recollections, Vanity Fair writer David Kamp reconstructed what the town - and people there - were like the day before the shooting. It is a frightening reminder about how fragility "normal" is, and how easily that can be shattered.
