In this installment, we have the second entry from a Bend band. Local thrash-grass group Grit and Grizzle stormed onto the local scene this year, tearing up the BENT Lounge stage at Winterfest in February and then conquering the rest of the town from there. (see video)

Also included are Minnesota-to-Portland transplants, The Lower 48.

This band of retro-pop artists combine hazy harmonies with 70's rock sensibilities and turned in a smartly crafted album in 2013 that almost cracked the top 100.
