We're getting closer to number one!

In this section of the list you'll find the highest ranked album from a Bend band with Wilderness' Homeward From the Battle slotted as the 62nd best album of 2013.

This group led by former Los Angeles rocker Jared Smith turned in one of the year's most personal albums. With sonic folk landscapes and beautifully crafted lyrics, Wilderness finds themselves as one of Bend's best bands carrying immense promise for the future.

Since their music isn't on Spotify, take a listen to the album here.
