Anytime a band works to incorporate a gamelan influence (a strain of Indonesian percussion that winds up sounding like a bunch of ringing bells) in its work, there's good reason to take a listen. Marrying that Eastern practice with what can only be described as the outer reaches of avant-rock, Boredoms drummer Yoshimi P-we helms a troupe called OOIOO. The band might be too left-field for some tastes, but adventurous listeners will be nothing but intrigued.

So, without further ado, we present you with "Atatawa."
