Tuesday Tracks: Conor Oberst

Posted By on Tue, Aug 26, 2014 at 2:00 PM

First Aid Kit and Dawes take on the Conor Oberst classic "Lua" off 2004's I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning with Oberst himself leading the foursome.
So maybe it's not the most uplifting song on the planet, but it happens to pretty darn beautiful with First Aid Kit's hand-in-glove harmonies and Taylor Goldsmith's meandering lead guitar. Check out more Cardinal Sessions, including contributions from The War on Drugs and the Avett Brothers here (beware music fans, its easy to get sucked into an endless YouTube loop of awesome, intimate acrostic tracks).
