Your support for independent local news is important.

The Source Weekly has been Central Oregon’s locally owned news outlet for over 23 years. We have always been the definition of "support local." Our success in navigating this new world is tied to the success we experience in pulling together for the common good.

Quality local journalism takes a group of dedicated reporters passionate about democracy and open government. This story is the result of our hard work, and in normal times, the result of the support of the advertisers in Central Oregon. In the age of COVID-19, however, that support has taken a hit—but that’s where you come in.

What's Love Got to Do with It? The 2015 Lust List (and Love Notes)

Posted By on Thu, Jan 22, 2015 at 2:44 PM

'Tis the season. Valentine's Day is just around the corner, so gird your loins and prepare for an onslaught of lovey-dovey nonsense. Whether you like it red hot, rosy warm, or gothic black, there's no harm in putting a little love in your heart.

For the feisty among you, we present the 2015 Lust List

It's the barista with a double shot of hot. The Mt. Bachelor employee who gives you chills. The brewer that puts a hop in your step. These are the hottest guys and gals in our midst and, once a year, we like to honor them with a shout out in the Source's Lust List.

But we can't do it without your help. Nominate Bend's hotties for all our categories. Share the love, get your friends to vote too!

Only one nomination per person (either male or female), per category, please. Want to nominate yourself? No problem, but you can only vote once so don't waste your selfie. Voting closes on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 11:59 pm.

For all the saps out there, we're also accepting Love Notes

Send us your love notes and we will print them in our Valentine’s week issue.

Here’s the deal:

• 140 characters or fewer
• More Jane Austen than “50 Shades of Grey”
• Our favorites will a win an exciting and possibly romantic prize!
