Bend Lady Roughriders are PNRFU Champions

Posted By on Mon, Apr 25, 2016 at 4:34 PM

A follow up to our story on the Bend Lady Roughriders, a women's rugby team from Bend who made it to the regional playoffs last weekend.

The Roughriders won their first game against Tacoma (22-19) and then went on to beat the undefeated Emerald City Mudhens (20-15) in the championship game. Making them the Pacific Northwest Rugby Football Union (PNRFU) champions!

These ladies will take on the Norcal champions in Seattle, WA on May 7 in hopes of claiming the ACR1 Championship and advancing to the National Quarter- and Semi-finals on on May 21-22 in Tucson, AZ. More information can be found here.

Great work ladies!
