Eek!! Eels! The hagfish crash on Highway 101

Posted By on Thu, Jul 13, 2017 at 3:02 PM

Making slime may be all the rage among the tween set these days, but we are guessing this driver didn't necessarily want to get in on the craze in this way.
Oregon State Police reported on its Twitter feed today that a truck carrying "slime eels" — otherwise known as hagfish, overturned today on Highway 101, closing the highway near milepost 131, and spilling the creatures—and their slime—all over a vehicle.

Check out the video, shared by Depoe Bay Fire/OSP:   Just wow.
