Pacific Power donating up to $144,000 to Oregon Energy Fund

Posted By on Thu, Feb 1, 2018 at 10:17 AM

Pacific Power, one of Bend’s largest electricity suppliers, is helping out the less fortunate this year.

The utility company is doubling every dollar customers donate to the Oregon Energy Fund. Last year, Pacific Power’s donations helped 1,209 households in need throughout Oregon, including nearly 1,100 children, 450 seniors and over 400 people with disabilities.

This year, the donations will continue up to $144,000.

Donations are forwarded directly to the Oregon Energy Fund. All funds donated are used to assist families in need from the same county in which the donor resides. Donations may be tax-deductible.

Customers who need bill assistance can talk with Pacific Power representatives at 1-888-221-7070.
