The Weekend in Music: Death Cab, Bright Eyes, Decemberists and More

Death Cab For Cutie tonight, Decemberists on Sunday.

What is that glowing thing in the sky? Is that the sun? For the moment, yes. The miserable weather we were originally looking at for Memorial Day Weekend has cleared up...just in time for the kick off of the Les Schwab Amphitheater season. Hopefully it stays that way!

We have a big guide to all things to do with outdoor music in this week's paper. Or you can read it right here.

But on top of that, here's a look at some new music from Death Cab for Cutie, Bright Eyes and the Decemberists, all of which play the amphitheater this weekend. Death Cab For Cutie, joined by Bright Eyes and Jenny and Johnny, are tonight at 6pm and tickets are still available.

The Decemberists and opening act Rodrigo y Gabriella play on Sunday at 6pm. There are still tickets for that one, too.
