We've hinted of this for a while, but now can finally confirm that 2009 will indeed yield a new disc from local acoustic powerhouse Moon Mountain Ramblers. The album, entitled Let it All Be Good, is slated for a January release and the band has been booked at the Tower Theatre on January 24 for a CD release party. It should be a night of high-octane bluegrass and Americana from what you, dear Source readers, voted the best band of 2008. Also, this is a band with a deft grasp on their instruments - something that's slightly lost when the band plays in smaller venues, with smaller PAs. But with the Tower's mega sound system, this show should have Moon Mountain sounding their absolute finest.
