Legendary Reggae Stars the Itals Cancel Bend Show

Posted By on Fri, Jul 10, 2009 at 10:25 AM

If you were getting pumped up for Wednesday's show from The Itals at the Domino room, bad news for you...it's cancelled.

The Jamaican roots reggae band pulled the plug on the show after a number of other northwest shows fell through. Without other spots to fill out the tour, the Bend show was no longer feasible.

Yeah, bummer.

But if you're looking to get down, do it tonight at the Summit Saloon and Stage where The Pimps of Joytime are serving up their funky, worldly, jazzy brand of cutting edge groove rock. Think Prince meets Sly Stone meets Ozomatli...or something like that. Show is tonight at 8pm.
