Finn Riggins Brings its Weirdly Awesome Indie Rock to Bend Tonight

Poppy experimental indie rockers Finn Riggins play a free show at Bend's McMenamins Old St. Francis School.

If there's one band that I've been pleased to see make return appearances in Bend over the past year, it's Finn Riggins (read our profile of the band from this summer), the sometimes goofy but always tight Boise indie rock trio.

The band is playing tonight at McMenamin's Old St. Francis School at 7pm -- and it's free! As in you don't have to pay any money. And better yet, unlike the band's other shows thus far, this one is all ages.

Finn Riggins released Vs. Wilderness, a set of remarkably crafted pop and experimental rock numbers that show the band's increasingly tight musicianship, this fall and followed the release with a tour opening for guitar rock gods Built to Spill.

Check out this video for the band's cut "Wake (Keep This Town Alive)."
