For this week's installment of our effort to continually give out "free stuff," I have five spots on the will-call list for Saturday night's show at the Silver Moon with Portland indie folk rockers The Ascetic Junkies, who are joined by local opening band Blackstrap.

The band, which sports a poppy yet thoughtful sound by way of vocals from both Kali Giaratta and Matt Harmon, has played a series of shows at the Silver Moon over the past several months, and have earned a following on this side of the mountains.

For this giveaway, I'll make it easy. All you have to do is e-mail me ( ). Just put Ascetic Junkies in the subject line and in the body of the message...I dunno, say hello to me or something about the Ascetic Junkies. And, of course, I need your name so it can be placed on the will-call list if you win.

All right, kids. You've got until noon on Friday to enter. In the meantime, here's the band's song "Whoa Oh Oh Oh Oh" -- my personal favorite. And it's just the song, not a music video.
